I'm not vegan. The only plant-based part of me is my garden and veggies in the frig. Most of us have caught wind of some benefits of a vegan diet and more recently vegan skincare products are gaining popularity. I thought it wise to try one and started with VENeffect brand because their formulation makes use of plant estrogens, known as phytoestrogens, which are a natural solution to the challenge of declining estrogen for women... like me.
First up was VENeffect Eye Treatment.
Phytoestrogens are molecules similar to estrogen, but are derived from plants and when applied topically offer anti-aging benefits.
I wanted to improve elasticity around my slow-growing-wrinkles sneaking around my eyes and the crow's feet following in kind. Did it work? Yes! I liked that it's derived from grape seed, red clover, and non-GMO soy extracts, which all evidently helped to improve my eye areas.
I smoothed it around my entire eye area AM and PM and it did hydrate as well due to Hyaluronic Acid. I also appreciated its anti-inflammatory properties along with Vitamin C and B to reduce dark circles and brighten and Vitamin E as an anti-oxidant.
And, I'm always in favor of a company such as this that is founded by women, for women. It spreads on like a silky cream and a little bit went a long way.
