How to use Clinique Moisture Surge 72 hour
And, why you should consider hydrating your skin with a hyaluronic moisturizer.
Staying hydrated rejuvenates your skin so it looks healthy, feels smooth and supple. The outer layer of our skin has the moisture it needs to flush away toxins and bring nutrients to the skin's cells. Drinking a lot of water is one way to hydrate. And, truth be told, it took me a long time to drink enough because stopping what I was doing to go to the bathroom seemed like such a bother. Yet despite drinking fluids, we still need the hyaluronic acid topical benefits of hydration on our most prominent feature.
Moisture surge 72-hour auto-replenishing hydrator
I was gifted a sample size and used it daily for 10 days. I learned that Clinique's Moisture Surge 72 hour Hydrator offers "auto-replenishing technology" with *aloe bio-ferment that helps our skin create its own internal water source to rehydrate itself. It holds that moisture for a plump, dewy look. Who doesn't love that?! I did look plumper. Plus, full of Hyaluronic Acid, a moisture magnet, the product is formulated to work 72 hours, even after you wash your face? HUH? Well, it did not for me. Maybe because I double cleanse? I mean, what's the point to stay on after washing my face? Anyway... It is an oil-free gel-cream with a peach color and no scent. It felt light when I applied it. Some days, when my skin was warm from the Florida heat, it felt cooling for a moment.
Clinique 72-hour Moisture Surge Ingredients
*Aloe bio-ferment is made of lactobacillus, activated aloe water, and certified organic aloe extract powder. This nutrient-rich ingredient helps skin retain moisture. One of the benefits of the fermentation process is that it breaks down large molecules into smaller molecules so they are better absorbed into skin. This helps plump your skin for a smoother appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid: Holds 1,000x weight in water, ideal hydration.
Aloe Water: Delivers hydration.
Cica: Soothes dry, delicate skin.
Caffeine: A great topical ingredient to reduce puffiness and improve circulation
